Have you ever found yourself daydreaming about a space in your home? Constantly imagining what you’d do to that space to make it absolutely amazing. Lately, I have been daydreaming about my kid’s playroom. Playing is such an integral part of childhood; I kept thinking about a space that was more than just toys.
They were already climbing the walls; I just made it easier for them.
I feel sorry for my husband because I am an absolute kid at heart and unfortunately for him, Pinterest exists. Me being a Realtor® doesn’t help either! I am constantly sending my husband pictures and links to projects I would like him to build in our house. To be fair, his dad usually helps him with these projects, so what I am really doing is bringing them together for family bonding. #yourewelcome
Over the Christmas Holidays, Atticus and I created a plan called, “Operation Grandad”. My husband had originally said no to our playroom makeover idea, so of course we asked Grandad, who is a kid at heart himself. Needless to say “Operation Grandad” was a success and my boys can now climb our walls more efficiently.
There are a few finishing touches required to complete it, but both boys absolutely love their playroom rock climbing wall and rope swing.
